Most people will associate the Balloon Fiesta Park in Albuquerque with the annual International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta that takes place each October. However, the park is home to another fantastic event over Labor Day weekend: The Harvest Wine Festival in Albuquerque. This year’s Harvest Wine Festival in Albuquerque will take place August 31 – September 2 and, like other years, promises to be a fantastic event for casual and serious wine lovers alike. 

The event features an impressive array of local wineries, each offering tastings of their finest selections. The Harvest Wine Festival in Albuquerque presents a fantastic opportunity to sip and swirl over 200 of New Mexico’s finest wines, from robust reds and crisp whites to unique blends that reflect the region’s distinctive terroir. It is an opportunity to explore the depth and diversity of New Mexico’s wine offerings while engaging directly with the passionate winemakers who have been busy crafting them. 

Though the winery lineup at the Harvest Wine Festival in Albuquerque is reason enough to attend, the fun doesn’t stop there. The event also features an array of delicious food, live music, and other entertainment, as well as several artisans selling their goods. This year’s event is slated to have more than 50 artisans, fine food purveyors, and some of the hottest local food trucks and chefs.
