The Kasha Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument is an outdoor laboratory that displays the geological processes that create natural features and landscapes. The Tent Rocks Canyon Trail is a 3-mile loop that passes through rocks and canyons before reaching a 750-foot climb up to an observation area where you can admire panoramic views. For a more leisurely hike, try the Cave Loop Trail, which is only a mile in length and follows an easy course. This area is considered sacred ground, so be sure to stay on the trails while you’re out exploring.
