The Southwest Chocolate and Coffee Fest in Albuquerque, New Mexico, will be March 16-17, 2019, at Expo New Mexico. Be still, my heart! Just in case more than 140 vendors of coffee and chocolate were not enough, the Chocolate and Coffee Fest also includes baking contests, classes, a cow-milking demonstration, a 5-K run, cooking demos, decorating and painting classes, the Kitchen Stage with presentations by coffee and chocolate experts, and live entertainment. And, of course, lots of tasting and sampling!

“Cups and Cakes” event Friday evening
The Southwest Chocolate and Coffee Fest starts off with a “Cups and Cakes” coffee tasting event on Friday, March 15, 6-8:00 p.m. The $45 admission ticket for this event includes 20-minute rounds with each of five coffee roasters for tasting, talk, cakes and brownies by Q Cakes, a bag of coffee to take home, a commemorative festival mug, and a weekend pass to the entire festival.

Saturday, March 16, and Sunday, March 17, 2019, 10 am-6 pm. Tickets may be purchased online, including a ticket for the entire weekend including a commemorative festival mug while supplies last.
Even more than coffee and chocolate
The festival has expanded over the years to include vendors sampling and selling jams, cheeses, artisan breads, craft brews, seasonings, dips, baked goods, kitchen ware, flavored oils, and so much more!
Parking
Parking at Expo is $5 per vehicle. The parking lot and entrance to the Lujan Building are from San Pedro Blvd. on the west side of the Expo Center, just north of Central Avenue. There is free parking for bicycles and handicapped parking.
