More Great Museums in Albuquerque to Visit

The Albuquerque Museum is just one of the many great places to spend some time indoors (and out of the cold) this winter! There are several fantastic museums in Albuquerque, and wWe’ve listed some of our favorite Albuquerque Museums to visit next time you visit our Albuquerque Bed and Breakfast.

  1. The New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science is one of our favorite Albuquerque Museums. It’s located within walking distance of Old Town and offers visitors a fascinating glimpse at our natural world over time. Don’t miss the chance to visit their spectacular planetarium, too.
  2. If you’re a fan of hot air ballooning, you don’t want to miss the Anderson Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum. You’ll learn everything you’ve ever wanted to know, plus more, about the History, science, and art behind ballooning.
  3. New Mexico has a long history in the country’s development of Nuclear Science, and you can learn all about it at the National Museum of Nuclear Science and History. Walk through the historical development of the Atomic Age through the Manhattan Project and the Cold War, and learn the many facets of nuclear energy and its uses.
  4. No visit to Albuquerque Museums is complete with a visit to the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, also located in Albuquerque’s Old Town. This museum is dedicated to preserving and perpetuating Pueblo Native American culture, History, and art, and it does a beautiful job of representing all 19 New Mexico pueblos.
