Orange Pecan Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups brown sugar packed
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons orange zest grated
  • 1 teaspoon orange extract
  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup pecans chopped

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 F.
  • Mix butter, brown sugar, eggs, orange zest and orange extract. Sift together the flour, salt and soda; stir into butter mixture. Stir in pecans.
  • Scoop dough into balls (about 1 ¼”) onto a parchment pape-lined baking sheet. Bake 14 minutes.
