Ingredients
- 1 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter, diced
- 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 cup sweetened coconut
- 4 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup macadamia nuts raw unsalted, toasted, then coarsely chopped

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; set aside.
- In the bowl of an electric mixer, beat butter until softened and creamy. Add brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and egg. Beat until mixed and smooth.
- Add flour mixture and mix on low speed just until blended,
- Gradually add coconut, chocolate chips and macadamia nuts. Blend until well mixed.
- Roll into 1-inch balls or scoop using a #40 scoop. Place several inches apart on baking sheet.
- Bake about 14 minutes or until golden brown.
